RakshaBandhan:
Akshay Kumar starrer RakshaBandhan is set to release on 11th August and it will clash with another big-ticket and much-awaited Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha. The film will be released by Zee Studios and going by the promos, it seems like a mass family single-screen film and that’s what will be the main target.
RakshaBandhan will get a maximum of 2500-3000 screens at best as Aamir Khan starrer will have far wider release down south and 60-65% multiplex screens all over India. As per the information available, RakshaBandhan should open close to 9 cr nett and good reviews should take it close to 10-11 cr nett.

Laal Singh Chaddha:
Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of Tom Hanks’ cult Oscar-winning film Forrest Gump and Kareena Kapoor to Naga Chaitanya are top lining the cast of the film. It seems that LSC should open around 16-17 cr net on opening day at least which will give it a good platform to grow as the film has 4 day weekend followed by a big national holiday on Monday.

DoBaaraa:
Ektaa Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap’s film DoBaaraa is all set for theatrical release on 19th August 2022. Taapsee Pannu starrer film is the Hindi remake of the 2018 Spanish movie ‘Mirage’. The film will open around 1 cr at the box office and will finish its lifetime collections by earning 9 cr. The film will be a flop at the box office.

Liger:
Karan Johar’s upcoming project which marks South star Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut is Liger. The film which also stars Ananya Panday is all set to release on 25th August. The film is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
Well, despite a lot of promotions, the film will fail to impress the audience at the box office. On day 1, the film is expected to open somewhere around 8 cr and will end its lifetime collections with 60 cr which is way less than the production value of the film. Liger will be an average film in terms of box office collections.
