The sequel of two major Marathi hits are clashing, namely Dagdi Chawl 2 and Takatak 2 on August 18.
Dagdi Chawl stars Makrand Deshpande and Ankush Chaudhari and is helmed by Chandrakant Kanse. In the first part, Deshpande had earned a lot of accolades for his portrayal of Daddy and he is now all set to step into the shoes of the character for the upcoming sequel ‘Dagdi Chaawl 2′.
Whereas, Takatak 2 directed by Milind Kavde is expected to be a super-duper hit. The film features Prathamesh Parab, Komal Bodkhe, Bhumika Kadam and Ajinkya Raut as lead characters. Other popular actors who were roped in for Takatak 2 are Akshay Kelkar and Pranali Bhalerao.
The grand entry, inimitable style, and a huge convoy of the characters of the film have raised the excitement of the audience and now it is to be seen that which film wins the battle amongst the two. Takatak 2 looks like have impressed the audience much with its trailer.
Takatak 2 has a much hyped item number. An evergreen chartbuster Hrudayi Vasant Phultana from the much loved Marathi film Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi (1988) has been re created after three decades for Takatak 2 featuring Elnaaz Norouzi.
On the other hand Daagdi Chawl has Daisy Shah in a song and in brief role.
Both the films, Dagdi Chawl 2 and Takatak 2 are releasing this week, let’s see who will win the box office battle.
As of now Takatak 2 looks more massy and might edge past it’s rival at box office!
