Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office: Ranveer Singh And Aditya Dhar’s Blockbuster Closes In On Rs 975 Crore Nett Hindi In India

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge is still refusing to slow down. More than a month after its theatrical release, the Aditya Dhar-directed spy action thriller added another Rs 2.75 crore on its sixth Saturday, pushing its total Hindi nett collection in India to Rs 968 crore. That latest jump has now brought the film within touching distance of the Rs 975 crore mark, underlining the kind of sustained audience pull only a handful of tentpoles manage.

Deep into its sixth weekend, the film continues to draw footfalls with remarkable steadiness. While the pace has naturally cooled after its explosive opening phase, the hold itself remains the real story. For a film mounted on such a massive scale, sustaining this level of theatrical interest so late into its run is what separates a blockbuster from a true event title.

A Sixth-Weekend Hold Few Blockbusters Manage

The film collected Rs 571.50 crore in its extended first week, followed by Rs 229 crore in week two and Rs 96 crore in week three. It then continued to post steady numbers across later weekends and weekdays, eventually reaching Rs 968 crore nett after its sixth Saturday. With one more day left in the weekend at the time of this update, Dhurandhar: The Revenge was closing in on yet another major milestone in India.

That kind of long-distance run also points back to the film’s design. Big-scale action may have pulled audiences in early, but the staying power suggests viewers kept returning for the world, the performances and the franchise hook that Dhurandhar: The Revenge brought to the big screen.

Inside The Spy Thriller Powering This Run

Mounted by Jio Studios and B62 Studios and released in theatres on March 19, 2026, Dhurandhar: The Revenge arrived as Aditya Dhar’s ambitious expansion of the spy action space, with Ranveer Singh leading a cast that also featured Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Sara Arjun. Rather than leaning only on scale, the film packaged its ensemble and high-stakes setting into a mainstream theatrical play that clicked with audiences across weeks.

The story followed an undercover Indian intelligence agent as he moved deeper into Karachi’s criminal and political underworld while confronting a larger terror threat. Positioned as a sequel to Dhurandhar, the film widened the franchise canvas and gave Singh a role built around intensity, swagger and sustained screen command.

What This Means For Ranveer Singh’s Star Power

For Ranveer Singh, the run of Dhurandhar: The Revenge feels especially significant because it sharpens his action-star image at a time when his filmography has moved across romance, comedy and larger franchise fare. Before the Dhurandhar films, he was seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023, Karan Johar’s theatrical release with Alia Bhatt, which worked well commercially and reminded viewers of his easy charm in a mainstream romantic setup. In 2024, he returned to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe with Singham Again, bringing back the familiar energy of Simmba.

What this latest run does differently is place him at the centre of a film driven by action, scale and stamina over several weeks. Instead of being remembered only for an opening burst or for his place within an ensemble universe, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has handed Singh a theatrical performance that reinforces his pull as a leading man who can carry a sustained big-screen spectacle.
