The two new Malayalam movies, Monster and Padavettu have received the cold shoulder from movie patrons in Kerala. While Mohanlal’s Monster received mixed reviews, Nivin Pauly’s Padavettu is struggling to stay strong despite encouraging word of mouth.

Saturday – 0.95 cr
Sunday – 0.95 cr

Friday – 42 lacs
Saturday – 45 lacs
Sunday – 70 lacs
Bad Perfromance from both movies at box office as Padavettu shown a very minimal growth from Day 1 whereas Monster faced a Big Drop on Day 2 and almost flat with no growth on day three.
Overall very poor box office result for Malyalam films on Diwali.
