Starring Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall, Jai Mummy Di is written and directed by Navjot Gulati. Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, it released on 17th January 2020.
Jai Mummy Di was released in about 1000 screens. And was a pressure on Sunny Singh to shine bright as a star after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety as Kartik Aaryan after that was already on roll.
The movie started its 1st day on very low numbers which was 45 lakhs. After that, the first Saturday and Sunday, which are said to be the most earning days for any Friday release weren’t much beneficial for the film as well. The movie collected 55 lakhs and 77 lakhs in it’s first weekend.
Jai Mummy Di continued earning on low levels throughout the week. The Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday collection of the movie was 20 lakhs, 20 lakhs, 18 lakhs and 15 lakhs respectively. The film managed to collect only 1 lakhs from day 8 to day 14 at the box office. The film was a complete disaster at the box office.
