This is one peculiar Friday, Kartik Aaryan & Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Shehzada’ postponed by a week to avoid clash with already established blockbuster ‘Pathaan’. But ‘Shehzada’ end up clashing with another Hollywood biggie ‘Antman And The Wasp Quantumania’. As expected and reported us by earlier, Marvel film trumps ‘Shehzada’ by some margin.
‘Shehzada’ is running an offer of buy 1 and get 1 free ticket today at multiplexes after Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ announced 110 INR ticket pricing for today across multiplexes. Competition is stiff but on 4th Friday SRK starrer is set for massive footfalls.
As per early trends, Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Shehzada’ has opened to 25% occupancy with almost 29,000 ticket sold by last midnight in advance bookings for today in national multiplexes. Film will struggle to cross 7-8 cr nett on day one though lot of tactics will be applied by actor and makers to breach 10 cr nett barrier (which will be still below par number). Watch out for it!
This week belongs to Hollywood biggie ‘Antman’ as film has crossed 1.10 lacs ticket sales in advances by last midnight for Friday in national chains. Film should cross 12-13 cr nett on day one though 10 cr nett is certain.
But the real big surprise is Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ as film has sold more than 19,000 tickets till midnight for today in national chains. As per early trends, it has started with 40% occupancy and film should collect 2.50-2.75 cr nett though it can go towards 3 cr nett as lot depends on spot sales from evening onwards.
