Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ opened on expected lines and little more than expected for few. Film managed to collect 15.73 cr nett on day one which was better than log of high profile films in post pandemic times.
Film has broken dry spell at box office as all films tanked post ‘Pathaan’. TJMM has big job ahead as big jumps needed over the weekend and today is working day so drop is expected.
As per early trends, film has dropped by 40% on day two morning which is fair but film needs to recover ground by evening and drop should be restricted to 25-30% max.

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ was big fancy release and Bollywood was banking on it to make comeback with this after dull period at box office. Film opened to decent numbers and collected 15.73 cr nett on day one.
This is better than ‘Bhool Bhullaiya 2’ and ‘Drishyam 2’ day one numbers which is not a bad achievement considering both had sequel advantage. TJMM needs to do big business over the weekend with good jumps in order to come out clear winner.
