Ranbir Kapoor And Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ opened well on day one but then film dropped on working day Thursday followed by slim growth on another working day Friday. These are always the risks with mid day release due to festival as film tapers down on weekdays unless it’s massive craze.
Today film was expected to be back on track as we predicted in our reports last night and that’s what happened. TJMM has jumped by more than 100% on day 4 morning and Saturday evening onwards this can go beyond this.
As per early trends, film should collect around 18.5-20 cr nett depending upon how mass centres and West region performs. Film is outstanding in north especially in Delhi but poor in Maharashtra and Gujarat. A good 40 cr nett today and tomorrow will take it beyond 75 cr nett 5 day weekend which is bare minimum target for the film.

‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ was better in Overseas on Friday as it collected over $500k taking its total to around $1.15 million. The film looks to be heading for a $2.25-2.50 million weekend which will be in that ‘Drishyam 2’, ‘Juggjug Jeeyo’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ range. the film really needs to jump on Saturday if it is go above this range.
