Adipurush, the highly anticipated Indian film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar, is set to release on June 16, 2023, across 6500 plus screens in India. The film stars Prabhas as Raghava and Kriti Sanon as Janaki. With astounding collections in the overseas market through advance bookings and high demand amongst audiences in India, the team opened the doors for their audience to book tickets at box office from Sunday, June 11.
The advance bookings have already opened in the overseas market, and the response so far is very good. The sales in Australia and New Zealand with seven days to go are higher than KGF 2, which is a mammoth achievement and a teaser of what is to come.
According to a trade source, the theatre booking is going on in full swing at this point in time as the full-fledged bookings plan opened on Sunday. PVR has sold more than 21,500 tickets followed by close to 14,500 tickets sold in Inox and 9,000 tickets sold in Cinepolis. As of now, the movie has sold more than 45,000 tickets in national chains which is fantastic start and this number should easily surpass 3.50-4 lac or more tickets by end of Thursday.

Real target of the film is to cross all time record numbers of Baahubali 2 (6.50 lacs), Pathaan (5.56 lacs) and KGF 2 (5.05 lacs). Film will release in 4100 screens in Hindi and 2200 plus in other languages which mean total of 6500 screens.
Anything less than 3 lacs will be a disappointment. Film should open close to 25 cr nett in Hindi only for a massive recovery needed for the film to become clean hit in cinemas.
