Akshay Kumar Gracefully Owns The Failure Of His Recent Flops:
Actor Akshay Kumar has recently opened up on the poor box office performance of his latest film ‘Selfiee’. Despite being a well-known Bollywood actor, the film has not been able to draw enough audiences to the cinemas. Kumar has expressed his belief that if a movie fails to perform well at the box office, it is his responsibility as the lead actor.
The last successful box office outing featuring Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was the 2021 film ‘Sooryavanshi’, which was part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘cop universe’. The movie starred Akshay opposite Katrina Kaif and also featured cameos by Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh.
Akshay, who has been facing a string of flops, acknowledged his past failures during an interview with Aaj Tak, stating that he has experienced such situations before. He recalled a time when he had 16 consecutive flops, and another time when he had eight films in a row that didn’t work.
