Shah Rukh Khan has managed to surpass all obstacles and critics to create a massive comeback. His latest film, ‘Pathaan’, has become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever in the overseas, India, and worldwide markets, without a release in China. It has crossed the 1016 crore gross worldwide mark, while the previous record-holder ‘Dangal’ had made over 700 crores worldwide without a release in China. ‘Pathaan’ has grossed over 507.50 crores Nett Hindi after 5th weekend today.
As a result of the poor performance of recently released films, ‘Pathaan’ had 50% more shows on 4th Saturday during prime time across national cinema chains. Again film has seen increase number of shows from 5th Monday as film will have 12-13 shows in prime multiplexes. On an average film will have minimum 1 screen (4 shows) in smaller multiplexes and 2 screens (8 shows) in bigger ones.
This is unprecedented for a film in its fifth week. It is expected that ‘Pathaan’ could surpass 7.5-8 crores nett in its fifth week after 5.50 cr nett weekend. With just 3.50 crores nett more needed in the sixth week to exceed the 511 crore nett of ‘Baahubali 2’.
Film will be in cinemas for at least until release of ‘Bholaa’ which means glorious 8-9 weeks of run.
Pathaan Crosses 1 Cr Nett Domestic For 33 Days Straight Despite Numerous New Releases
Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Pathaan, has finally crossed the 1 Crore nett domestic mark for 33 consecutive days, making it a rare feat in Bollywood. The movie has been making headlines since its release on January 25, 2023. This speaks aboutdominance and consistent hold of the film in today’s multiplex era where big releases fizzle out after a week or two with front loaded business is norm.
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ has been shattering all the previous box office records and has finally entered in 5th week. Even the newly released movies are struggling to open with decent numbers due to massive box office hysteria of ‘Pathaan’.
Tomorrow will be first day for ‘Pathaan’ when it will go below 1 cr nett which will be 34th day of its run. It might again go to 1 cr nett on 6th Saturday and Sunday making total of 35 days in excess of 1 cr nett.
