Exclusive Box office Report: Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchhan Paandey is rejected at box office

After the box office success of Kesari, Akshay Kumar has returned to Holi. The actor has finally arrived with his Bachchhan Paandey, and early reports indicate that the film will have a strong first day at the box office.

The Kashmir Files craze has piqued the interest of moviegoers, who are eager to see how Akshay Kumar’s film would handle it. According to reports, the film’s screen count has been badly impacted, but there is now a positive indication for the filmmakers.

Film is released in 2900 screens all over the country and despite stiff competition from The Kashmir Files, film has taken a fantastic start on day one.

Film opened to near housefull in centers where Holi effect is less and despite low advances, film should have good day one. The film collected 13.25 cr nett on day one (Friday) and on Saturday the film saw a drop by collecting 12 cr nett. On Sunday, the film managed to collect 12 cr and on Monday the film collected 3.75 cr nett. Even on Tuesday the film did not do well and collected only 3.74 cr nett. Now the total collection of the film stands at 44.75 cr nett.

The movie has been directed by Farhad Samji. The plot revolves around an aspiring filmmaker intending to make a film on Bachchhan Paandey, who kills for fun.
