Out of 9-10 Bollywood releases, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G was only Hindi film to open some sort of occupancy. His last couple do releases post lockdown Anek and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui ranked at box office. Here are latest box office collections of today’s release.
Ayusmhann Khurrana starrer Doctor G was biggest Hindi release out of all today and opened to mixed reviews. Film had low pre release buzz and opened to 10% opening and it was similar to Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
Film did grew especially in urban centres and evening shows were better than all other new releases. Film collected 3.87 cr nett on Friday which was decent total. Film grew on Sunday and collected 5.22 cr nett on Saturday. Film again collected 5:94 cr nett on Sunday.
Film has weekend total of 15.03 cr nett. If film can hold strong tomorrow then it has chance for good lifetime business. Films of this genre failed to perform in post pandemic era but this trend gives some sort of hope to this genre.
