Exclusive Box Office Report: Marvel’s Thor continues to march on at box office despite drop on weekdays

Hollywood biggie Thor: Love & Thunder was released among huge expectations and the film has delivered numbers over the weekend in India and worldwide despite mixed reviews.

The film collected a huge 18.20 cr nett on day one and though it dropped on day two with 11.40 cr nett, it grew over the weekend again with 16.80 cr nett on Wednesday and 18.40 cr nett on Thursday. The film collected 64 cr nett plus over 4- day weekend despite mixed reviews.

Thor dropped on Monday but still managed 5.50 cr nett which meant film will be in contention for a couple of weeks. The film has crossed 75 cr nett on Tuesday and it is heading for 81-82 cr nett in week one which is a fantastic result.

The film will cross 100 cr nett by end of 2nd week if not weekend

The film, not only mark the reunion of actor-director duo Chris Hemsworth-Taika Waititi 5 long years after the success of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ but also Chris Bale’s big MCU debut as deadly villain, Gorr the God Butcher.

The new Marvel Studios movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, and Chris Pratt. Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder opened in theaters on July 8, 2022.
