Exclusive Box Office Report: Marvel’s Thor Love & Thunder witnesses normal drop on day two & scores 14.25 cr nett number

Hollywood biggie Marvel’s Thor Love & Thunder scores huge on day one with 18.50 cr nett opening which was 5th best opening ever for a Hollywood film in India.

The film was expected to drop on day two as the initial craze subsided on day two, The film still scored a big 14.25-15 cr nett on day two which was a drop of 22% and the film should again grow over the weekend.

Thor has 2 day total of 33-33.50 cr nett and it should cross 68-70 cr nett minimum over the weekend.

The film needs very solid growth from tomorrow evening onwards for good trending here onwards.

The film will not only mark the reunion of actor-director duo Chris Hemsworth-Taika Waititi 5 long years after the success of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ but also Chris Bale’s big MCU debut as deadly villain, Gorr the God Butcher.

The new Marvel Studios movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Taika Waititi, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, and Chris Pratt. Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder opened in theaters on July 8, 2022.
