The Khoslas are headed back to the big screen, and this time the family chaos is getting a fresh new chapter. Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 has been lined up for a theatrical release on March 5, 2027, bringing back the quirky world that turned the 2006 original into a cult favourite.
The sequel marks a major return for one of Hindi cinema’s most loved middle class comedies. The original Khosla Ka Ghosla, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, earned lasting affection for its sharp humour, relatable family tension and deliciously wicked property battle. Two decades later, the franchise is moving forward with both familiar faces and a new set of players stepping into the madness.
The New Release Plan For Khosla Ka Ghosla 2
Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on March 5, 2027. The film is being presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Tandav Films, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath and Raj Hiremath.
The sequel is directed by Priya Mishra and Prashant Bhagia. The makers are also preparing to unveil the film’s first look soon, and it will introduce the sequel’s updated world while retaining the playful spirit associated with the original. The new film pushes the story ahead with the Khosla family getting pulled into another all new situation filled with domestic confusion, humour and emotional messiness.
Original Cast Returns With New Additions
A big part of the excitement comes from the cast reunion. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, Praveen Dabbas, Tara Sharma and Kiran Juneja are back, reconnecting the sequel directly to the original ensemble that audiences embraced years ago.
Joining them are Ravi Kishan, Divya Khossla, Nishant Verma, Kangan Baruah Nangia and Danish Iqbal. That blend of returning cast members and fresh additions signals that the sequel is expanding the family dynamic while staying rooted in the characters that defined the first film.
Film Details And Franchise Context
The original Khosla Ka Ghosla followed a Delhi family locked in a battle to reclaim their land from a crafty property dealer, and its mix of satire, emotion and sharply observed everyday life gave it enduring recall. Over the years, the film has remained a reference point in conversations around Hindi cinema’s most beloved slice of life comedies.
That legacy gives Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 a clear emotional foundation as it returns to a world audiences already know well. With its theatrical release now fixed for March 5, 2027, the sequel stands as the next official chapter in a franchise that has retained strong pop culture value long after its first outing.
