Out of 9-10 Bollywood releases, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G was only Hindi film to open some sort of occupancy. Second major release was Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu starrer Code Name Tiranga directed by Ribhu Sen Gupta.
Film opened to mixed reviews. Film had low pre release buzz and opened to 10% opening but due to low ticket prices it didn’t go anywhere.
Film did grew especially in urban centres little but it was too little too late. As per early trends it should collect around 35-45 lacs nett on day one depending on late night shows.
This is bad news for the film as big jumps in next two days can not take it to any sort of respectability. Anything above 10 cr nett lifetime could had been a good news. Film will struggle to cross 5-7 cr nett lifetime. Flop !
Once again Reliance Entertainment marketed film very badly after Vikram Vedha. Both films suffered due to poor promotions.
