The box office performance of R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is not spectacular. Collections for rocketry slightly increased over the weekend. On July 10, the movie marked its tenth day in theatres. For rocketry to break even or enter the profit zone, there is still a long way to go. The film received rave reviews and it turned out that R Madhavan’s passion film didn’t go unnoticed.
The film started very low under 75 lacs nett on day one but word of mouth ensured jumps over the weekend and solid tending on weekdays. The film collected 8.83 nett over week 1 and then it kept steady trend over 2nd weekend.
Rocketry has a total of 12.15 cr nett after 2nd weekend and it will cross 15 cr nett on Thursday at end of the second week. This Madhavan starrer should finish with 18-20 cr nett lifetime which is still below par number overall.

In the movie Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Madhavan, who portrays Nambi Narayanan, a physicist and aerospace engineer who worked at ISRO, wrote the script and produced the film. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya will both make brief cameos in the movie, which opens in theaters globally on July 1.
