Exclusive Box Office Report: Rajkumar Rao Bhumi starrer Badhaai Do struggles hard on the first day

Badhaai do is the sequel to the sleeper hit Badhaai Ho and Rajkumar Rao gets into shows of Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is kind of marking the restart of cinemas.

The film was always set to struggle with the trailer which depicts the world of LGBTQ. This subject might find takers on OTT platforms but cinemas rejected Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui a few months back so this film is certain to struggle. The film was released on 11th February and on the first day itself, the plot failed to reach the audience. On the first day, the film collected 1.75 cr nett which is a very bad number heading towards a flop.

The film is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. Apart from Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao, it also stars Seema Pahwa and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal parts. Amit Trivedi, Khamosh Shah, and Tanishk Bagchi composed the film’s music, which is produced under the umbrella of Junglee Pictures.
