As reported by us last evening, after the dismal start during the day Rajkummar Rao – Sanya Malhotra starrer HIT: The First Case made progress in the evening followed by some sort of growth on Saturday. Even on Sunday film grew but overall film remained dismal.
The film was struggling to cross 1 cr nett going by the start but late night surge managed to take it to 1.35 cr nett on day one which was some sort of consolation. Still, the film is lower than disasters like OM & Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 Agni Pariksha and needed big jumps over the weekend in order to score some sort of respectable lifetime numbers.
But film failed that litmus test today as it just managed to grow by 35-40% or so instead of desired 90-100% growth due to such a low day one.
Film has collected 2.01 cr nett which was marginal growth. Film again grew but only marginally and collected 2.23 cr nett on Sunday. thus have total of 5.59 cr nett over weekend. It will fail to cross 11 cr nett over the week one which is a disastrous result for the film. Film will struggle for decent lifetime total.
It’s sad to see such good actors struggling at box office in new post pandemic era when larger than life films are the key.
Meanwhile, Gulshan Kumar and T-Series present in association with Dil Raju Productions HIT: The First Case. Directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra hits the theatres on the 15th of July, 2022.
