Exclusive box office report: Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey is a massive disaster

In Jersey, Shahid Kapoor plays a cricket fanatic whose ambition of playing for the Indian cricket team is realized in his forties. Despite the fact that the film faced several problems before its debut, the public had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, on Monday, April 25, Jersey flopped at the box office. Its box office collection dropped by 60 percent.

On Day 3, Jersey made Rs 5.10 crore. However, on Day 4, April 25, at the box office, the numbers dropped even more. On Monday, the film earned Rs 1.75 crore and on Tuesday it collected 1.35 cr. As a result, the total box office collection is now estimated to be Rs 16.95 crore. Jersey could wind up with a lifetime gross of less than Rs 25 crore and be a big disappointment. The film’s fate as a theatrical release has been sealed by a dip in box office numbers on Monday. Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 has had a significant impact. Jersey may also be pulled from theaters on its second Friday, with Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 taking its place.

Jersey is the Hindi remake of Nani’s Telugu film of the same title. Jersey is backed by Allu Entertainment, Dil Raju Production, Sithara Entertainments and Brat Films. The film Jersey was released on April 22nd.
