Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi and multi-starrer RRR were massive box office hits, with the audience applauding cast, direction and other aspects. These movies also did successful business even in other countries. When the audience learned that Gangubai Kathiawadi had outperformed RRR in terms of global box office take, they were shocked. Leaving these movies aside, K.G.F: Chapter 2, starring Yash, ranked first in foreign box office collections.
Alia Bhatt has maximum successes as female lead of not one but three films – Dear Zindagi also starring Shah Rukh Khan, Raazi, also starring Vicky Kaushal & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
The film Gangubai was super success in India but the real big surprise was overseas which can also attributed to Sanjay Leela Bhansali factor. Still, the film had a face of only Alia Bhatt and that is why her credit can’t be denied.
The film has crossed 7.47 million $ which is more than globally acclaimed blockbuster SS Rajamouli’s RRR which starred Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt and that is no mean achievement.
