Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer JugJugg Jeeyo failed to impress on day one as it collected below par 9.28 cr nett. The film did amazing in Delhi/NCR market but was below par elsewhere.
JJJ again started today almost on same patterns and continues to dominate in same markets. It should grow by 25-30% today and that means a total of around 12.55 cr nett but this growth is insufficient.
The film needed to double or at least grow close to 40-45% in order to have chance at box office but 30% means just average number after two days.
Film again grew by 20% on Sunday and collected 15.10 cr nett on Sunday which was good trend considering lower day one. Now film needs a solid Monday for a good lifetime total.
It will have total of 36.93 cr nett after three days which is a fair result.
JugJugg Jeeyo will not able to hold beyond 7 cr nett on Monday and lifetime total of 100 cr nett looks tough with this trend. It is doing amazing numbers in overseas and might become highest Bollywood opener with 2 million $ number as target.
JJJ is directed by Raj Mehta and is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The film features an ensemble cast that includes, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor along with Manish Paul and YouTube sensation, Prajakta Koli, who will be making her Bollywood debut.
