New Milestones Reached And Previous Records Shattered By Carry On Jatta 3
Previously, the Punjabi film Shadaa, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, holds the title for the highest opening day collection, amassing an impressive 2.70 crores in net revenue. Following closely behind is Honsla Rakh, another film featuring Diljit Dosanjh alongside Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa, with a noteworthy 2.52 crores in net earnings. These films have set a remarkable benchmark in terms of box office success, showcasing the immense popularity and drawing power of the talented cast members.
Carry On Jatta 3 crossed 4.50 cr on day one which is massive record. Film collected another 3.75 cr all India including 3 cr in East Punjab on day two. Film surpassed 9 cr nett of Saunkan Saunkne as it’s crossed 13.25 cr net extended weekend. Film crossed 5 cr net all India on day 3 including 3 cr net in East Punjab. Film collected 6 cr net All India on day 4.
Film crossed 19 cr net over 4 day extended weekend. Film crossed 2.50 cr net on day 5. It has total of 22 cr net. Now next target is lifetime record for Punjabi film lifetime record which is 40 cr.
Film is also extraordinary in overseas. On Thursday though being a working day collections get held back a little but on Friday there was no stopping the numbers. Canada saw a huge jump on Friday while UK stands at £100k in two days and Aus is around A$250k in two days.
Film crossed 22 cr over weekend in overseas which is similar to India biz. Film has crossed 50 cr worldwide business today on day 5.
