Exclusive Day 7 First Week Box Office Update Hrithik And Saif Starrer Vikram Vedha Scores 60 Cr 1st Week In India And Crosses 100 Cr Worldwide Gross! Numbers Inside

Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan released today. Film has considerable amount of pre release buzz and good reviews have helped the film to multiply the noise.

Film released in 4000 plus screens in India and 1600 plus screens overseas. It’s massive release for a film of this genre and it is because of huge cast. Film is expected to created some ripples at box office. But film failed to start big or jump over weekend.

Yesterday film grew marginally due to holiday effect kicked in but today film jumped big due to Dussera holiday. Film might have best occupancy all over on weekday and that has partially proved a point or two.

Film had poor marketing buzz as there was no unique activity or second trailer before the release. Also release date was bad as 2nd October was on Sunday and month end coupled with mid festivities pull down the film at box office. If it was released last evening or today then it could had been a different picture.

Film collected below par 10.58 cr nett , 12.51 cr nett and 13.85 cr nett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively. Film had disappointing weekend of 36.94 cr nett and this was shocking considering rather good reviews and decent word of mouth.

Film collected 1 million $, 950 k $ and 713 k $ over the weekend in overseas with total of 2.67 million $ (21.74 cr). Overseas total is fair considering numbers in India and post pandemic times.

On Monday film was expected to hold but again film disappointed with rather below average hold. Film suffers due to festivities for sure but still numbers should have been better. Film was expected to score at least 7-8 cr nett number on Monday with 30% or so drop but that didn’t happen. Film dropped by 48% on day 4 which meant figure of 5.39 cr nett.

Yesterday film was expected to grow due to festivities and it grew by 8% and collected 5.77 cr nett. On Dussera holiday and film has taken a fab start at box office. Film collected 7.21 cr nett on Thursday with 33% growth due to holiday factor. Today film dropped by 33% and collected 3.26 cr nett.

Film has 7 day first week total of 58.57 cr nett and now tomorrow is crucial for its longer run as there is no major release to stop the film as Goodbye seems to struggle. Film collected 29.79 cr in overseas.

Also film will run on discounted rates from tomorrow.
