Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was struggling with one average song after another followed by below par trailer. Still the film is one of the highly anticipated movies of 2024 and promises to be one of its kind experiences for the audiences.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan seems like a content film which will be high on emotions with patriotic fervour. None of the song from the film became chartbuster but good reviews can give film legs for long run.
Eid Releases To Release From 10th April Evening Onwards
Both films were slated for release on 10th April but now Eid might fall on 11th April. That is why both the films might release from 6 pm onwards on 10th April instead of morning.
Makers of both the films has joint meeting today afternoon and dismal advance booking numbers along with Eid on 11th April forced them to change release timings.
Multiplexes will refund all tickets which were sold for 10th April from morning to 6 pm shows. Now it will be interesting to see whether this decision will help makers to boost the sales.

About Maidaan
Ajay would be essaying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim to tell the story of this unsung hero who was responsible for taking Indian football to new heights and winning accolades for the country. The team at that time comprised of illustrious players like Chunni Goswami, PK Banerjee, Balaram, Franco, and Arun Ghosh.
Maidaan is directed by Amit Sharma and backed by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Zee Studios. The film stars Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and will focus on India’s golden football period between 1952–1962. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh also appear in supporting roles. The film was initially slated to release on 23 June this year but was again postponed. However, now people are hopeful that it will finally see the light of day after multiple delays.
