This week’s big Hindi release is Munjya. It is a part of the exciting Maddock Supernatural Universe, which also comprises Stree (2018) and Bhediya (2022). As Munjya released on June 7, here is the latest update on the box office collection of the film.
Munjya Takes Flying Start At Box Office
Munjya has take a fantastic start at box office on day one. Despite short promotion window and new star cast, film is heading for healthy day one total. As per early trends, film has crossed 1.43 crore gross in national chains by 4 pm and it will cross 4 crore nett by end of day 1. It has outside chance of crossing 3 crore nett.

PVR + Inox: 1.10 cr
Cinepolis: 33 lacs
Total: 1.43 crore gross
Film is set for double digit weekend with normal jump.
Advance Booking Of Munjya Heading For 23,000 Tickets
Advance booking for horror comedy Munjya started yesterday in national chains. Film has done well as despite limited marketing, film managed to cross 5,200 tickets in national chains. Film sold 19,000 tickets in Pvr and Inox in addition to 4,000 tickets in Cinepolis.
Following are the sales in national chains:
PVR + Inox: 19,000
Cinepolis: 4,000
Total: 23,000 tickets
Munjya Censored With Zero Cut
The Censor process of Munjya was completed on Tuesday, June 4. The Central Board of Film Certificate (CBFC) has awarded the film with a U/A certificate. Interestingly, the CBFC’s Examining Committee has not asked for a single cut, whether audio or visual. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 123 minutes, that is, 2 hours and 3 minutes.
