Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Bholaa’ released today all over. Film is official remake of 2019 Tamil Hit ‘Kaithi’ and this is 4th directorial venture of Ajay Devgn. Film is also released in 3D and IMAX.
Film faltered in advance booking numbers with only 35,000 tickets in national chains by end of yesterday. To be fair, today is holiday and this action genre so spot bookings will cover lot of shortfall of advances. Film is slow in morning and afternoon but it should speed up from evening onwards.

Pvr 1.30 cr
Inox 0.80 cr
Cinepolis: 0.45 cr
Total 2.55 cr
As per early trends, film should cross 10 cr nett big nothing more than that will depend on evening rush as film seems very weak in centres outside UP and MP. Hindi heartland will come on board due to genre but acceptance a ping multiplexes or Maharashtra will decide outcome.
Bholaa Is Chasing Himmatwala Day One Number:
What is interesting that ‘Bholaa’ is released today on 30th March 2023 and another Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Himmatwala’ was released on 29th March 2013. That was also an official remake and was directed by Sajid Khan.
That film was colossal disaster but opened to 12.10 cr nett on day one. After 10 years with more number of screens and higher ticket price, ‘Bholaa’ is chasing that figure. It speaks about content and level of expectations in today’s time.
