Anubhav Sinha’s controversial film ‘Bheed’ released today all over. Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer was complete non starter at box office on expected lines. Though film got glowing reviews but it didn’t help much. Film’s black & White shots and slow pace are big deterrent for masses.
Film started with 2-5% opening and never improved throughout the day. Film collected 45 lacs nett on day one. It needed massive jump but today film collected only 55 lacs nett. Film added another 55-60 lacs nett today with almost zero growth.
Film has 1st weekend total of 1.60 cr nett and lifetime will be around 2 cr nett at best with weekdays adding only 25 lacs nett. This will not even recover its VPF charges (cost to release in cinemas) and P & A.
It’s another box office failure from Anubhav Sinha after Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Anek’, another issue based film. Before that in pre pandemic era, Anubhav’s ‘Thappad’ and ‘Article 15’ were sleeper hits which were again issue based films.

Saturday: 55 lacs
Sunday: 60 lacs
Weekdays: 25 lacs
Total: 1.85 cr nett

The soundtrack of Ra.One film starring Shah Rukh Khan was composed by Vishal–Shekhar whilst the lyrics were penned by Atahar Panchi, Vishal Dadlani, Kumaar, Anubhav Sinha and Anvita Dutt. Anubhav Sinha directed it and released in 2011.
Anubhav Sinha said he loves music and the process of making songs, especially with Vishal Shekhar he has “made brilliant songs together”. He stated he doesn’t have contribution in but they give a lot of credit.
Vishal replied, “Hahahahahahahaha, @anubhavsinha aa jaao, Sir. @Su4ita, to paraphrase a philosopher….”Kaisa sharmana, sabko nachh ke dikhaate hain!” 😆🤘🏽”.
