Brahmastra is now global juggernaut and has awaken box office for Bollywood films proving all critics wrong. Film released worldwide on September 9th, 2022 and broke various records.
Day 15 of the Brahmastra release witnessed maximum occupancy, with already advances of 1 million plus all India, which is highest ever advances on 3rd Friday for any film ever in India.
Brahmastra saw from less to no vacant seats, making shows almost or completely not available because of ticket price set at Rs 75 on the occasion of National Cinema Day. This boosted its collections by 25% in week 3.
Film collected massive weekend of 123 cr nett in India over 1st weekend and 180 cr nett plus in week one. Film crossed 217 cr nett domestic after 2nd weekend. Film was equally amazing overseas as it collected 6 million $ in 1st weekend and 9 million $ in 1st week. Film stood at 12.5 million $ after 2nd week.
Film collected massive 173 cr nett All India All Language and 153 cr nett in Hindi in week one. Film collected total 18.50 cr in south languages over week.
Film collected 58.20 cr nett all languages in 2nd week which is fantastic. Film has total of 231.95 cr nett/206 cr nett Hindi.
Film has collected 21 cr nett plus over 3rd weekend and 27 cr nett plus in 3rd week all India all languages.
Film had total of 259 cr nett plus All India All Languages and 232 cr nett in Hindi.
Film dropped big as expected today as two massive releases, Vikram Vedha and PS- 1 took majority of screens. Film still manage decent numbers in 3D & IMAX version. Film collected 75 lacs nett on 4th Friday which is still not bad. Film again jumped by 40-45% and collected 1.30 cr nett on 4th Saturday. Film jumped again and collected 1.70 cr nett on 4th Sunday.
Jump was limited due to competition from new releases and festivities all over country. It means film collected 3.75 cr nett lover 4th weekend and can cross 5 cr nett over 4th week but festivities can give it 1-2 cr extra.
Still film should add 8-10 cr nett lifetime from here at best and it is heading for 270 cr nett all India/240 cr nett Hindi and 440-450 cr worldwide finish.
