Produced by Luv Films and T-Series, TJMM is Ranbir’s 7th 100 crores grosser and 6th 100 Crores grosser for Shraddha Kapoor. It will finish as the 4th biggest for Ranbir Kapoor as it is still approx. 40 crores away from topping “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” which looks unlikely.
At the worldwide box office, TJMM has crossed 210 Crores gross. Film has done decent business considering post pandemic scenario but it could had certainly done better in range of 180-220 cr nett lifetime India.
TJMM managed decent 70 cr nett 5 – day weekend but then massive hold was required on Monday which didn’t happen. Film did hold on weekdays subsequently but on lower levels. Film collected 92.75 cr nett in week one. Film collected 27.69 cr nett in 2nd week which was average hold.
On 3rd Friday film held well due to no competition from Hindi films. Film crossed 12.99 cr nett in 3rd week which is only 55% drop from previous 2nd week and that’s exceptional trend.
Film collected 60 lacs nett on 4th Friday despite competition from new releases. On 4th Saturday film jumped big by 100% and collected 1.17 cr nett plus. Film added 1.45 cr nett on 4th Sunday. Film added 2.95 cr nett over 4th weekend. Film added 2.60 cr nett on weekdays and collected 5.87 cr nett in 4th week. This was huge drop which was expected after release of ‘Bholaa’.
Film collected 80 lacs nett on 5th Friday and film jumped by 50% on 5th Saturday with 1.20 cr nett number. Film added 1.30 cr nett on Sunday. Film cross 3.30 cr nett over 5th weekend and will cross 4.25 cr nett in 5th week. This is a decent hold.
Film has total of 142.24 cr nett. Film is certain to finish with 145 cr nett lifetime which is a fair result for the film and it’s a plus film for makers with ancillary recovery in excess of 125 cr. Film has crossed 211 cr worldwide gross.
