Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ started on low numbers but managed to collect very good numbers over weekend followed by good week one. Now steady 2nd week has given respectable lifetime number.
Film started slow on day one with 1.27 cr nett and then film trended well from there on with jumps over weekend. Film collected 6.42 cr nett over weekend. Film crossed solid 10.51 cr nett in 1st week.
Film started well on 2nd Friday and collected 4.60 cr nett over 2nd weekend which is fair 30-35% drop from weekend 1. Film added 6.54 cr nett in 2nd week with only 37% drop from week one. That’s a decent trending at box office despite new releases.
Film faced big film ‘Bholaa’ in 3rd weekend which meant further drop in numbers. Film collected 35 lacs nett on 3rd Friday followed by big jump on 3rd Saturday. Film collected 70 lacs nett with 100% jump. Film added 75-80 lacs nett today. Film has collected 1.80-1.85 cr nett over 3rd weekend and will cross 2.50 cr nett in 3rd week.
Film will cross 21-22 cr nett lifetime at best and that means film managed average result at box office. With income form non theatrical rights, makers will be in profit.
