Tiger 3 Drops Big On Weekdays After Massive Opening Day
Salman Khan has never been massive overseas star as his only few really good films did very well at box office there. It’s been a fortress of Shah Rukh Khan over two decades. So it’s not a surprise that Tiger 3 opened big due to Saturday – Sunday release but with average reviews and mixed word of mouth, collections have come down crashing down.
Film collected massive $5 million (41.66 cr) on day one which were including preview on Saturday and full run of Sunday. Monday film dropped by big 50% plus if you take real value of Sunday as $2.5 million. Film collected $1.5 million on Monday which is alarming sign for days to come. Film again dropped on Tuesday and collected $0.65 million and on Wednesday, it collected 0.75 million.
Film will cross $8 million today and it’s tough for the film to breach $16 million lifetime in overseas market.
Following are the collection for the film in overseas market:

Tiger 3 Vs Pathaan Vs Jawan Vs TZH Vs RRKPK Overseas Numbers: Tiger 3 At Bottom
If we compare overseas numbers of Tiger 3 against Jawan and Pathaan numbers then there is glaring gap. Following are the collections of the films after two days:
Tiger 3: $7.90 million
Jawan: $48.4 million
Pathaan: $49.3 million
RRKPK: $21 million
Tiger Zinda Hai: 20.21 million
Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 might fail to beat earlier instalment of franchise Tiger Zinda Hai which released 6 years back in 2017. This is major setback to YRF’s Spy Universe considering last offering Pathaan broke all records.
For Tiger 3, road seems tough at the moment and even decent overseas lifetime number of $16 million (1/3rd of SRK starrers) will be an achievement.
These numbers of Shah Rukh Khan films came without any holiday in overseas markets. This is unimaginable and humongous dominance of King Khan. Now these records will be challenged by Shah Rukh himself when his next release Dunki will hit in cinemas on Christmas, 21st December.
All Three Tiger Films Collected Less Than Shah Rukh Khan’s One Film Pathaan In Overseas
At best, Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 might cross $15 – $16 million in overseas market which means all three Tiger films have collected $47 million at best. And here is SRK’s Pathaan which has collected more than all three Tiger films! This is dominance of Shah Rukh Khan which will be part of folklore.
Ek Tha Tiger: $10.30 million
Tiger Zinda Hai: $20.70 million
Tiger 3: $16 million (expected)
Pathaan: 49.30 million
