EXCLUSIVE: Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Trails Behind Jawan And Pathaan In National Chains And Single Screens By Big Margin Of 70% All India, Numbers INSIDE!

The much-awaited action thriller Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is all set to release on November 12, 2023. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is the third installment of the popular Tiger franchise, which revolves around the adventures of a spy couple.

Tiger 3 is expected to be a blockbuster at the box office, as it promises to deliver high-octane action sequences, exotic locations, and a gripping plot. The film also features Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist, who plays a ruthless terrorist leader.

Tiger 3 Trails In National Chains And Single Screens Both

There are usual rumour mongering and unjustifiable arguments all over internet regarding Tiger 3 advance bookings. In the times of paid media and social media trolling by fans, most of the media outlet toe the lines of big actors and production houses. Just because of Pathaan and Jawan proved to be monumental all time blockbusters, every film is coming with pressure of achieving new records. Ego of production houses as well as stars and their fans on stake and target is too tough to beat.

Tiger 3 is lagging behind Pathaan and Jawan by big margins in national chains and non national chains are no better as film is struggling there too in advances. Film has sold 4.86 lac tickets and it’s only 30 hours to go for release. SRK starrer Jawan was 70% higher and even Pathaan was more than double. Following are the ticket sales breakdown for day 1 of the films.

Ticket sale breakdown for Day 1 –

Jawan: 15 lacs

National Chains: 5.57 lacs
Non national chains: 9.43 lacs

Pathaan: 10.76 lacs

National Chains: 5.56 lacs
Non National Chains: 5.2 lacs

Tiger 3: 4.86 lacs (30 hours to go)

National Chains: 1.56 lacs
Non National Chains: 3.30 lacs

Tiger 3 Needs Big Jumps Over Next Two Days To Challenge 8 Year Old Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Advances 

Salman Khan has delivered some box office duds in recent past i.e. RadheAntim. His last release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed miserably at box office despite being an Eid release and home production of super star. That is why his next release Tiger 3 is very important for revival of box office clout of Salman Khan.

This is Salman’s franchise and his most popular character. On Saturday, late afternoon film’s advance booking kicked off in national chains and response is on expected lines. Film took good start all over. By end of the day, film sold 10,000 plus tickets in national chains on Saturday.

Film saw below par sales all around as film crossed 1,40,000 tickets sold in advance booking in national chains. Film sold only 20,000 tickets in whole day on Wednesday and 18,000 on Thursday which is low.

Following are the numbers in national chains in advances for day 1 as of Friday 6 pm:

PVR + Inox: 1,40,000

Cinepolis: 35,000

Total: 1,75,000 tickets
