Despite its midweek release, actor Akshay Kumar’s highly awaited film “Bell Bottom” has generated a lot of buzz, with theatres across the country reopening with only 50% occupancy, with the exception of Maharastra. While it had a good first day with a collection of over Rs 2.45 crore, the second day has seen a minor decline with a collection of around Rs 2.35 crore.
The spy thriller, on the other side, has had some success in the Delhi NCR region, but not so much in Punjab. Similarly, Gujarat and Rajasthan are experiencing a decline; however, Hyderabad is expected to perform better in the post-covid period. However, due to the closure of cinemas in Maharashtra for safety reasons as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in India, the film did not do business in the state.
The box office collection of Akshay Kumar starrer on day 3, Saturday in India is 3 cr with a limited growth.
Bell Bottom is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and released on 19th August 2021. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi.
