Bell Bottom, starring Akshay Kumar, was released a while ago and has been performing quite well at the box office, especially considering the Covid-19 restrictions. The film, which was the first to hit theatres following the second lockdown.

Due to the Janmashtami vacation, Bellbottom collected a total of 1 crore on its second Monday, which was better than the second Friday. Interestingly, despite having to compete with the Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi movie Chehre on the box office, the film has managed to hold its own.
Bell Bottom grossed 1.8 cr on its third weekend. Though the film’s box office has fallen significantly since its premiere, it is expected that the film, which has little to no competition in theatres, will continue to play. Bell Bottom’s total BO collections as of the end of its third weekend are estimated to be Rs. 27.15 cr.
The overall collections for the film are not great, but it is a ray of hope for cinemas. Here’s what the day wise breakdown looks like –

Bell Bottom is currently in its fourth week in theatres, and trade estimates suggest that it will surpass the Rs. 30 crore mark before the fourth weekend. Not only that, but the makers of the film have already secured an OTT platform for its premiere in the coming weeks.
