This week has seen one of the massive footfall weekend post pandemic as both new releases Gadar 2 and OMG 2 did very well on day one exceeding all expectations. Both the films had diverse audience as Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 wrecked havoc in single screens and interiors among masses and Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 managed traction in urban multiplexes.
Gadar 2 Remained 2nd To Pathaan, OMG 2 Touched Double Digit
Going by advances, it was evident that film will take a massive start on day one all over. Film is super strong in central India, north and south. West Bengal and Punjab are little subdued and might improve tomorrow onwards once the reports are in.
Gadar 2 crossed 40 cr net on day one. Film will need to be solid in next two days as national Holiday is on Tuesday which means insane total for the film on cards. Film will cross 75 cr net tomorrow and 115 cr over weekend.
Gadar 2 created mass hysteria and crossed 40.10 cr on day one which is only second to Pathaan but by big margin. OMG 2 is 8th best of the year with 10.26 cr day one which was good result considering the clash.
