Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar is steady at the box office during 2nd weekend. Film released on Holi and had good extended weekend of 5 days followed by good business in multiplexes especially up north.
After collecting 92.31 crores net in the extended 1st week, the Luv Ranjan’s directorial movie did well on the second weekend to score 16.83 crores, a drop of approx. 61% from like-for-like first Fri-Sun weekend. It held well on its second Monday for with 2.40 crores, pushing total nett collection to over 111.50 crores in 13 days.
TJMM will enter among the top 5 highest-grossing films of Ranbir Kapoor at the domestic box office. At the end of the second Tuesday, it will cross the lifetime net collection of Ranbir’s “Barfi!” (112.10 crores) and “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (113.20 crores) to become his 4th biggest net scorer.

At the worldwide box office, TJMM is nearing 170 crores and should cross 200 crores gross at the end of its run.
