Vicky Kaushal is currently gearing up for the release of the biographical war drama Sam Bahadur. Ahead of its release, the actor has been promoting the film with full energy.
Sam Bahadur is directed by Meghna Gulzar and written by Meghna and Bhavani Iyer. The film is based on India’s first field marshal Sam Manekshaw who played a key role during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and the liberation of Bangladesh. It will be released theatrically on December 1st, 2023.
Sam Bahadur Set To Open Well In Urban Centres
Vicky Kaushal starrer Meghna Gulzar film Sam Bahadur is clashing with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal on December 1. Full fledged advances will start from tomorrow in national chains though few centres started today.
Film has sold more than 5300 tickets in national chains. Film will do well in urban centres and high end properties despite clash with Animal. Film will attract more family audience as Animal is coming with Adult certificate plus heavy violence theme.
Following are the advance booking in national chains at 11 pm on Sunday, 26th November for day 1:
PVR + Inox: 4300
Cinepolis: 1000
Total: 5300 tickets
As per early trends, film should cross 4-5 cr nett on day one and then film will jump big over weekend. Exceptional reviews and word of mouth will decide film’s run at box office.
