Kajol starrer film directed by Revathy with cameo from Aamir Khan sounded a credible product but film received average reviews and failed at box office miserably. Salaam Venky failed to clock even 1 cr nett over weekend.

Friday – 20 lacs
Saturday – 35 lacs
Sunday – 40 lacs
Total – 95 lacs nett
Film will not add much from here and will finish with 1.25-1.50 cr nett lifetime which is far less than its P & A itself. As per trade reports, Zee bagged the film for 28-30 cr for all rights.
Other two releases Maarich and Vadh failed to collect even 25 lacs each weigh former collecting 20 lacs nett and later collected 25 lacs nett.
