Hollywood films are making marks in big way in recent times. On one hand, big ticket films like ‘Avengers’ created mammoth records and on other hand ‘Joker’ became highest grosser ever for an only English language released film last month.
So it was decent expectations from ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ at box office. Terminator collected 2.75 cr nett on opening day from 700 screens which was fair result considering competition from handful Bollywood releases from last week and this week. Film grew marginally over the weekend with 3.25 cr nett on Saturday and 3.75 cr nett on Sunday.
Terminator: Dark Fate collected 9.75 cr nett over the weekend and with steady weekdays it could have cross 15 cr nett. But it will not do much beyond it as film has below par reviews and this genre doesn’t have legs for long run. That’s what happened as film dropped heavily on weekdays.
Terminator collected 1.25 cr nett on Monday and 1.10 cr nett on Tuesday. Film has 5 day total of 9.75 cr nett and it will finish with 1st week of 11.75 cr nett. Film will not add much after that. Flop !!!
