Diwali 2019 was a bumper festival for the exhibitors as Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh led Housefull 4 is about to enter the 200 crore club. But apart from this, we also saw the release of a Marathi film titled Hirkani.
There were two other notable Bollywood movies in Saand Ki Aankh, Made In China and Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil released on the same day.
But, despite all these films, Marathi film Hirkani has made a mark for itself. It has managed to amass an amazing number for itself at the box office. The movie collected 2 cr nett in its first weekend.
This was doubled to 4.25 cr nett in the first week. This showed the good trending of the film despite having so much going around for the viewers. The movie ended the second week with a minimal drop by collecting 3.25 cr nett.
The collections prove that movie is a super hit and it would interesting to see where it’ll move after Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala takes over the driving seat.
