Irumudi Box Office: Ravi Teja’s Film Turns Second Weekend Into A Rs 150 Crore Worldwide Triumph

Ravi Teja has a full-fledged box office winner on his hands. Irumudi has charged past Rs 150 crore worldwide in just nine days, turning its second weekend into a major victory lap and proving that the film’s grip on audiences is far from easing. A Rs 14.50 crore second Saturday in India has now pushed the film’s domestic gross beyond Rs 134 crore, giving the actor one of the strongest theatrical runs of his recent career.

Irumudi Crosses Rs 150 Crore Worldwide

The film’s estimated worldwide gross now stands at Rs 153.50 crore. Overseas, Irumudi has collected a little over USD 2 million, led by USD 1.55 million from the United States and another USD 500,000 from the rest of the international market. The milestone has arrived at speed, and more importantly, it has come through sustained footfalls rather than a short-lived opening burst.

Telugu States Fuel The Run

The biggest muscle behind that total remains Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where Irumudi has grossed Rs 120 crore in nine days. Nizam alone has delivered Rs 58.75 crore, while Andhra has added Rs 45.50 crore and Ceded has contributed Rs 15.75 crore. Karnataka stands at Rs 10 crore, with the rest of India bringing in Rs 4 crore.

The regional split underlines just how dominant the film has been in its home market. Nizam, in particular, is emerging as the centerpiece of this run, keeping the film on a powerful trajectory even after the first-week frenzy.

Cast, Release And Next Target

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi was released in theatres on August 21, 2026. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the family drama stars Ravi Teja in the lead, with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Ajay Ghosh and others in key roles. Set against a devotional backdrop linked to Lord Ayyappa, the film blends family conflict with emotional drama, a mix that is clearly resonating with the mass audience.

That momentum now puts the film within striking distance of another major benchmark in the Telugu states, where Rs 150 crore gross is the next big target. For Ravi Teja, the success of Irumudi also adds fresh weight to a busy career phase. After Mr. Bachchan in 2024 and Mass Jathara in 2025, the actor has found a far bigger commercial headline with this film, while Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi keeps him firmly in the conversation in 2026. Right now, though, the spotlight belongs squarely to Irumudi, which has converted strong opening demand into a sustained theatrical triumph.
