Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and is a serious escape drama with action elements. It’s expected to perform well in premium multiplexes in major urban centers.
Film took a sedate start on day one and collected 4.55 crore. This was due to clash factor and little niche dark feel of the film. Still film recovered well on day two with 45% jump and collected 6.58 crore net. Film dropped on day 3 Sunday and collected 5.51 crore net.
Film dropped by 60% on Monday and collected 1.60 crore net. Jigra has 4 day total of 18.24 crore net and its a below par result. Now hold on weekdays is crucial for some sort of lifetime total.
