The Malayalam film industry is shining with back-to-back blockbusters in the form of Premalu and Bramayugam. This weekend, another Malayalam movie named Manjummel Boys hit the big screens, and it is off to a flying start at the ticket windows. The movie had solid buzz even before its release, and the same was reflected in the advance bookings.
Manjummel Boys Another Box Office Winner From Malyalam Industry
The survival thriller, based on a true incident that occurred in 2006 which led to Siju David being awarded the Jeevan Raksha Padak Medal in 2008, is wooing audiences, not just in Kerala but also the other parts of the country.
Manjummel Boys is doing wonders at the box office with a domestic collection of approximately 12 crores gross in just 3 days, an incredible feat for the industry which is not as big as some other regional film industry.
Additionally, the film has minted around 9.50 crores gross at the overseas box office for over 20 crores worldwide collection in three days. It is already running riot in its limited capacity on Saturday and with Sunday still to come, the 4-day opening weekend worldwide could be around 35 crores gross.

Manjummel Boys is a survival thriller based on a real incident where a few friends set out on a journey to Kodaikanal. The movie features Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arjun Kurian, and others in pivotal roles.
