On its opening day, Pushpa 2 earned ₹175 crore net in India and grossed ₹294 crore worldwide, marking the highest opening ever for an Indian film. The Hindi-dubbed version also set a record as the biggest Hindi opener to date. It kept making record over the 4 day weekend.
