Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn Starrer Sequel Crosses Solid 19 Crore On Day One, Heading For 70 Crore Extended 4 – Day Weekend

Ajay Devgn’s one of the most anticipated sequels, Raid 2 is released yesterday in theaters. The movie has already set the tone with 87,000 tickets sold on national chains for day one in advance booking.

Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production. The Ajay Devgn starrer is seeing an All-India release by Panorama Studios in association with PVR – Inox.

Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid 2 continues the story of fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik as he takes on a powerful new adversary in the world of black money and corruption. The buzz around the film has been steadily building, with fans excited to see Devgn in action.

Back in 2018 the movie was a hit with 102 crore net number; this time, expectations are even higher.

Raid 2 Crosses Fantastic 19.71 Crore On Day One

The movie has been passed with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes, and is carrying positive buzz. Multiplex chains and single-screen theatres alike saw higher footfall on the film’s opening day, considering that it was a partial holiday. It is released across 3800 – 4000 screens today all over India.

Film collected solid 19.71 crore net which is above expectations as industry expected 15 – 16 crore on day one. Film has 4 – day weekend at its disposal and it should easily cross 70 – 75 crore net over the weekend.
