Ramayana Part 1 box office wave: Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram avatar powers massive Day 5 ticket sales

Ramayana Part 1 has delivered its biggest booking headline yet. After a roaring first weekend, the film’s Day 5 advance in national chains crossed 4 lakh tickets by 8 PM, moving ahead of its Day 1 advance of 3.75 lakh tickets and putting Monday on course for Rs 85 crore nett.

Day 5 Advance Moves Ahead Of Opening Day

The national-chain booking trend has now become the story. Ramayana Part 1 had sold 3.75 lakh tickets in these circuits for Day 1, followed by 1.95 lakh for Day 2, 3.85 lakh for Day 3 and 2.85 lakh for Day 4. By 8 PM on Day 5, the film had already touched 4 lakh tickets, making it the strongest advance-booked day of its run so far.

That kind of jump is unusual for a first Monday, especially after such a heavy opening weekend. Instead of slowing after the initial rush, the film has pushed beyond its opening-day benchmark, giving its weekday business the shape of an event title still in peak demand.

Box Office Total Builds Rapidly

The domestic numbers already reflect that momentum. The Hindi version has collected Rs 183.25 crore nett through four days, while the dubbed versions have added Rs 50 crore nett, taking the all-India total to Rs 233.25 crore nett.

The overseas run has been equally strong, with the film grossing $17.45 million, or around Rs 164 crore, through its first three days. Those numbers have added major weight to the film’s early global performance and helped turn the release into a full-scale worldwide play rather than a market driven by India alone.

The worldwide gross, based on the first three days, stands at Rs 387 crore. With the domestic run continuing to climb and Day 5 now emerging as the film’s biggest advance-booked day in national chains, that global total is set to move sharply higher once the next round of full-day figures comes in.

What The Monday Surge Means

The significance of the Day 5 number lies in what it says about the film’s trajectory. Opening-day advances are usually the high point for front-loaded spectacles, but Ramayana Part 1 has now gone past that mark on a weekday. That suggests the film is no longer running only on launch hype. It is pulling sustained audience traffic deep into its first week.

If Monday lands at the level the current advance is pointing to, Ramayana Part 1 will have converted a blockbuster opening into an even stronger hold, which is often where the biggest theatrical runs separate themselves. Crossing 4 lakh tickets in national chains on Day 5 is not just a booking update. It is a statement that the film’s weekday box office is operating at a scale usually reserved for opening weekends.
