The spooky season has officially arrived, and it’s all thanks to the final film in one of the world’s most loved horror franchises. The Conjuring Universe released its ninth and final chapter, The Conjuring: Last Rites, and its performance at the Indian box office has been absolutely monstrous.
The film has a huge and loyal fanbase in India, which was evident from its fiery advance bookings. Despite clashing with big Bollywood releases like Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files, this horror flick is not just holding its own; it’s crushing the competition.
Film collected 49.64 crore net over first weekend including paid previews which was fantastic beginning. Film added 65.94 crore net in 1st week beating all new Hindi new releases.
Film scores 13.07 crore net in 2nd week, 2.55 crore net in 3rd week and 51 lac in 4th week. It has total of 82.07 crore net and it will finish with 84 crore net lifetime India total. Super Hit!

It also easily surpassed the openings of other popular films in the series, like The Conjuring 2 (Rs 7 crore) and Annabelle: Creation(Rs 6 crore). This massive success cements the final chapter’s place as the most popular film in the entire series for Indian audiences.
