After massive Diwali clash at box office, last couple of weeks saw release of handful of films. The Sabarmati Report was the only prominent Hindi release.
The Sabarmati Report Set To Cross 10 Crore In 3rd Week
Film continues to hold over 3rd weekend. Film added 2.05 crore on 3rd Friday, 1.95 crore on 3rd Saturday. It will cross 2.16 crore on day 17 and 6.25 crore net over 3rd weekend. It will cross 10 crore net in 3rd week.
Film has total of 32.45 crore net. Low opening day did hurt the film though now solid hold in subsequent weeks took the film to sort of hit total around 33 crore net lifetime. With release of Pushpa 2 today, The Sabarmati Report has finished its theatrical run with 33 crore lifetime.
The Sabarmati Report Crossed 11 Crore In 2nd Week
Film collected 1.55 crore net on day 8 which is better than day 1. It jumped by 71% on 2nd Saturday and collected 2.65 crore net. Film collected 3.24 crore net on 2nd Sunday. Film collected 7.44 crore net in 2nd week which was higher than week one. Film got benefit of no new release plus tax free status in few states. Film added solid 1 crore net on 2nd Monday followed by 1.02 crore net on 2nd Tuesday, 1 crore net on 2nd Wednesday and 90 lac net on 2nd Thursday.
Film collected 11.36 crore net in 2nd week which is only 7% less than 1st week.
The Sabarmati Report Holds Solid On Weekdays In Week One
Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra’s film witnessed a low opening at the box office. The film has managed to mint ₹ 1.41 crore net only on day one. The film received mixed reviews upon release. Film needed to jump big over the weekend for any chance at box office and it did that on day two.
Film grew by 54% and collected 2.18 crore net. It again grew on day 3 and crossed 3.12 crore net. Film collected 6.71 crore net over the weekend which is strictly average total. Film held solid on day four and collected 1.23 crore net which is as good as day 1 Friday. Film collected 1.37 crore net in day 5 which was higher than day 4 and very similar to day 1. Film again grew and collected 1.60 crore net on day 6 which was higher than even day 1. Film added 1.25 crore net on day 7.
Film has 1st week total of 12.16 crore net which is superb result considering low opening.
